Tiny Homes, Big Opportunities

This year, Unplugged Houses is giving Indianapolis Home Show attendees a glimpse of a new lifestyle making its way across the nation: the tiny home movement.

A tiny home isn’t simply a small house. Built on a trailer, these lovingly-crafted homes allow owners to escape, travel and live wherever they want.

Tiny House

“We see tiny homes used as vacation homes, hunting lodges and off-the-grid homes,” said Brady Whitesel of Unplugged Houses. “In effect, a tiny home can become the ultimate getaway, offering its owner the ability to live comfortably in a location that might have not been easily accessible for a traditional cabin or vacation home.”

The tiny homes range from 12 to 24 feet in length and are all eight feet wide. The maximum height is 13 feet six inches, required by the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Whitesel is enthusiastic about the opportunities a tiny home offers homeowners.

“Imagine escaping to a little home in the woods where you can literally unplug from your busy digital day or retreat to a creative studio nestled in your backyard.”

The possibilities are practically endless!

Come be a part of the tiny home movement making its way into the Midwest! The tiny home from Unplugged Houses will be in the middle of the West Pavilion.
